About Us

We are a friendly amateur wind band based in Norwich, performing a broad repertoire from classic to modern music...

Norwich City Concert Band (NCCB) has been a part of the East of England’s music landscape since 1997. An independent, committee led, community wind band NCCB has a wealth of members spanning a wide range of abilities from amateur to professional standard.

Originally founded by four members of a local wind ensemble who enjoyed playing together they saw a opportunity to bring together like-minded musicians. We now have a band that comprises over 50 regular players whose enthusiasm and dedication has resulted in the band performing hundreds of concerts to a very high standard and rewarding the community with great music!

Our Repertoire

A full symphonic wind ensemble Norwich City Concert Band has an interesting and engaging repertoire ranging from classic concert band pieces which include marches and favourites from the Last Night of the Proms to film scores and television music, classical transcriptions, classic musicals, Disney and contemporary arrangements for concert band.

We enjoy keeping our programmes fresh and exciting, for audiences and players alike!
